Better late than never in the garden...
Good day to all who have made the imaginary garden with real toads a regular place to visit on a Monday. As always, the invitation is open for you to share a piece of creative writing with us - there is no regulation, theme or time frame governing your selection.
We ask that in the spirit of sharing this space with others, that you will visit the sites of the poets who post their poetry alongside yours.
What a delightful Green Lady!
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting.
Decided on prose today...may turn some off of reading it and thats alright. Happy Monday to everyone.

ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!...Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteprose keeps getting in the way of poetry.
ReplyDeleteI posted one of my favorite poems - a few of you have read it before, but most of you have not. It carries my message, and I figure at the end of a long winter, is worth posting again:)Happy Monday, kids. It snowed a little over night. Confusing the crocuses yet again.
ReplyDeletea brand new one from me this time...
ReplyDeleteThis is a real oldie, back when I first started writing poetry, and experimenting with breaking the sonnet form while retaining it. Something about Autumn brings back memories.
ReplyDeleteand in the name of silliness... the profound snoring of madwomen.
ReplyDeleteShawnacy, your piece was surreal and sublime.really like it but failed repeatedly in commenting on it.an almost epiphanic shutout.hope you'll read this.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies if I'm behind in leaving comments. A close friend is having some personal issues that have me tied up time-wise. I will try to return later.
ReplyDeleteThat sculpture is amazing! I will be back late tonight - carting kids to and fro this evening ;)
ReplyDeleteI finally made it here on Monday! {~ Mad cheering of accomplishment ~}
ReplyDeleteAnd now I'm heading to all of yours, fellow toads! Thanks for the opportunity.
Happy Monday, Toads! I riffed on another of Shanyn Silinski's pix. :-)

ReplyDeletea little late to the party this week, but it is always nice to be invited!
ReplyDeleteThat lady looks pretty terrific--the grass, the figure, the sleep! I'm afraid what might grow on me would be fungus. K.
