How amazing it is to share New Year's Eve with all of our friends and followers in the Imaginary Garden... even though I'm pretty sure you all have a fabulous celebration planned to mark the passing of another year. Perhaps you do have a poem that you would like to share today, or you would simply like to leave a message in comments.
Best wishes for the year to come: may it be a time of new opportunities and successful accomplishments.
Happy New Year to one and all, and thanks for the support :) I thought I had better add a nice one, if you look at my site there are 2 other new ones , one a colab with teh amazing Neva Flores
Even though I don't like the sound of the new year ahead [twenty thirteen doesn't have a ring to it for me], I am quite hopeful. Wish everybody a year without troubles and problems.
Thank you Kerry. I finally managed to get my head around the form prompt you set us this weekend.
I have nothing newer than Saturday's write but I think it opened an interesting discussion about the differences between the poet's intention and the poem's reception by its readers.
happy New year everyone. I've linked a political poem, for something less earnest you might like http://llmcalling.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/happy-new-year-2013.html
I shared a poem you may have read at the Pub, but now you can read it in the Garden . . ."gonna make this garden grow . . . make it fertile ground." Or KEEP it this way. What a wonderful place! All the best in the New Year for you and yours!
What a lovely time I am having, browsing your offerings. Some great writing going on in the garden, as always. Happy New Years, kids. I look forward to reading great stuff in the garden all 2013!
