Welcome to The Tuesday Platform!
Bodnant Garden, Wales |
It’s Tuesday! C’mon in, the platform is yours. We Toads invite you (yes, you!) to share your poetry with us.
Long or short, old or new, it’s up to you. Remember that links in the Garden do not expire, so feel free to link up on Wednesday or later in the week. And please do take some time during the week to read the work of other participants. We all value feedback on our work from other writers; it is how we grow, even in snow-weary winter.
So, bring us your words! We look forward to reading your poems.
I look forward to looking through the timeless poetry. (daisylistens)
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting from the Frozen Wastelands, Marian. My morning is otherwise allocated, but will be around to read and visit as soon as I can.
ReplyDeleteSubmitted for your approval, a rondeau redouble , which is French for "More damn trouble than it's worth."
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Mexico...Happy Tuesday everyone!!
ReplyDeleteI wish the frozen wastelands of New York City looked as pretty and inviting as the image you've posted, Marian.
ReplyDeleteI shall delight in all the poetic yum when I get back from seeing my physical torturer.
Greetings from the Guf Coast of Texas, city of Katy today. No snow, very cool for February.
ReplyDeleteI'm posting an oldie today, one of my favorites. As always, I tried to write so the poem would stand alone. Generally the pictures are ones from my archive that my muse selects as a writing promp.
There are friends in my life who I do miss terribly, others I miss enough to reminisce. It took me a long time to capture her on digital, she would fly away before I got close enough.
Also, 'she' may have been a 'he'. I have human friends no longer in my immediate circle or who are out of touch or deceased (??) who are male. (This not a 'coming out today.)
..
Happy Tuesday everyone. :-)
ReplyDeleteHowdy Toads...good to see ya again!
ReplyDeleteWarm greetings from a cold world .. :-) I tried some new form tonight.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday to all who visit the garden!
ReplyDeleteAstrophysics this week.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading today's offerings!
ReplyDeleteHey Marian--I just saw your review of my book, Nice, on Amazon--thank you so very much. I don't ever check that kind of things as I get a little depressed, so I really really thank you and am sorry not to have thanked you sooner!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you Shay--and to all of Toad book writers! Will check everyone out to the extent I haven't! Thanks. k.
Ah, you are welcome, Karin. It's a wonderful and affecting book that's really stuck with me.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to check back and perhaps take part in your delightful site.
ReplyDeleteJeesh, for as short as my piece was this time, it sure was hard to write!
ReplyDeleteI'm late as usual, but that means there's all these goodies already here for me to peruse. Win!
