Camera FLASH!

Greetings to all poets!
Last month, the wonderful poet whom we all know as Hedgewitch, started a weekly Friday 55 at Verse Escape, in honour of its creator, Galen Hayes. We kept up the tradition here at the Imaginary Garden, but I feel it has moved to its rightful home.

In its place, I will now be offering a single image prompt on the first weekend of every month. The challenge is wide open.

Here is our first photograph: What could they possibly be hauling out of the ocean?

  1. Oops! This posted a bit early. My apologies. I scheduled it weeks ago and must have made an error with the time. I guess it gives everyone time to let the picture sink in.

  8. Thanks for the lovely compliment Kerry. As you know, my muse is often hiding somewhere in the dark these days, but this is a compelling picture, indeed, and I will keep it in mind for the next time a fit of writing strikes. A great idea for a monthly challenge also--the link between the visual and the imagination is potent and alive.

  9. Nice one, Kerry. Sometimes I have trouble with photo/image prompts but I shall challenge myself to try them!

  10. As a late in the weekend poster, I was able to read everyone else's post to inform mine. Great work everyone, and Kerry thanks for providing the image that provided the inspirado!

  11. At 18th place, I suppose I'm last.

Some dark turns in the entries I read. I took it a different way.
