The Tuesday Platform

“If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive.” ~ Eleonora Duse

Few things make me grin wider or brighter than the sight of Nature showing off. Heart-stirring poetry has a similar effect, and the latter can be relived over and over and over…

So, dear Toads and visitors, let’s share some of the poetry that remind our spirits we are alive. Share a new poem, an old poem, a short poem, any poem… then, rejoice in what others shared.

  6. Kim, your thoughts on the non-hibernating nature of the Imaginary Garden made me giggle. Thank you for that.

  7. I wrestled with words today - too tired - but was inspired by the image and quote. The words came first and the image and corresponding story as a compliment.

thanks Magaly for the dance of light - hope everyone had a wonderful Tuesday.

  8. Glad you enjoy the harbingers of Spring! Autumn here is always lovely, so I don't mind contemplating its approach, either. However, it's not a nature poem I have for you today.

  11. Happy Hump Day to all. I think the light verse to which I linked just might be considered my "poetic" manifesto...
