I finally (hopefully) have a version of the quintet, with the extended linked rhyme in iambic pentameter--it would have been so much easier in tetrameter, but if you go fives, you have to go all the way I guess. Anyway--I hope I haven't butchered the form too badly. Thanks Kerry for the mental exercise.hedgewitchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13090696134322515899noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-7901738205402066682012-04-22T02:46:49.377-05:002012-04-22T02:46:49.377-05:00@Hannah... Plus the fact that it just calls for ten syllable lines is good because I'm still a little green in the area of the idea of "Iambic Pentameter etc." I need to study! Heeheee! Oh, also the daisy chaining effect of lacing the rhyme scheme to continue through the poem is cool too. Thank you, for the challenge!Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10124956200834969600noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-27588733782677103032012-04-21T19:00:10.741-05:002012-04-21T19:00:10.741-05:00counting in four again are we haha I love the idea...counting in four again are we haha I love the idea of an enveloping poem or envelope poem - though more for its name and the abstract thought it has me running off with than its structure which would have me ripping up pages to achieveOstensible Truthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08775793995809226782noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-42190151660389214352012-04-21T17:24:42.080-05:002012-04-21T17:24:42.080-05:00love it, yippee!

I'm guessing it doesn't have anything to do with neon tetras.

Next time, pretty please, could you just throw an example up, and say, "Shay, do *this*"?Fireblossomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07040525704916368792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-64383622695981869552012-04-21T15:54:20.063-05:002012-04-21T15:54:20.063-05:00Interesting forms . . .
