I spent an inordinate amount of time today wracking my brain to figure out why "A Child's Christmas in Wales" sounded so familiar to me. Now I find in Wikipedia that it was released as a recording, so I probably remember hearing it on the radio in the 1950s. My father was a great one for getting us to listen to interesting things on the radio.<br />Ancient memories aside, Dylan Thomas was of course much talked about when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s, and it has been very interesting to read about him, and read some of his work, again.
