One thing you said moved the world for me:

"In general, I am of the opinion that thinking individuals have a responsibility to be part of the Grand Discussion. Whether it be through debate, or in the legacy of their work, or their communication and correspondence with contemporaries, we who strive to live the Examined Life are invited to step up on the Stage of Time so to speak, and contribute our small verse to the Dialogue of human history."

You are an amazing soul! :)
~ReneeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-31253034270154842352011-09-29T15:13:14.163-05:002011-09-29T15:13:14.163-05:00... and now all his questions are botched.... and now all his questions are botched.Marianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04030161532713347225noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-22647047582444538882011-09-29T14:51:39.203-05:002011-09-29T14:51:39.203-05:00also... just totally did a little jumpy dance at y...also... just totally did a little jumpy dance at you for playing along, miriam & titus. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-43157847956614070272011-09-29T14:43:30.543-05:002011-09-29T14:43:30.543-05:00... demanded an answer...... demanded an answer...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-37195996857195142892011-09-29T12:57:20.993-05:002011-09-29T12:57:20.993-05:00Oh, how I loved reading this interview! I have little exposure to Shawnacy's work, but now that I've been introduced, I shall make it a point to read her well.
So much of this piece struck a chord with me. Our essential need to participate, give, engage is something I have always felt. Like Shawnacy, I've always been overwhelmed by the inspiration available in the natural world. And one more thing... I am a 52 year old nutter who spends a fair amount of time on swings, kicking soccer balls, swimming and splashing and running with a 2 year old. Thank goodness for grandchildren! :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12460881702249079009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2542041444980449672.post-62103796001987136812011-09-29T12:15:10.086-05:002011-09-29T12:15:10.086-05:00Thank you both so much!
