Calling all toads to the garden...
Welcome, once again, to the place where anything goes on a Monday: no prompts no parameters only poetry. Select a piece to share with others, be it something new and shiny, or something a little dusty that deserves to be revisited. Please remember to visit the blogs of other writers who have linked their work alongside yours, and return a review with one of your own.
First!
ReplyDeletePosting a new piece in an old series. Happy Monday all!
Thanks as always for hosting this! Here's my Limerick Degree.
ReplyDeleteJust a few lines of doggerel--or maybe snake-erel?--that popped up. It's a new one, very short.
ReplyDeleteI'll be around in the morning to do some reading.
Something I wrote last year.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful this blog is!
ReplyDeleteANd how kind of you to let us share your toads!
Have a creative day!

I wrote a new one...Happy Monday ~
ReplyDeleteHeres an old one that had only one view on my blog....hope it gets some love. Happy Monday Everyone!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMine has bad words in it. Toads, cover your ears!
ReplyDeleteI'm sharing special this week. I wrote this the night two of my best friends buried their seven month old daughter, definitely the hardest writing I've ever done. Tomorrow would have been Misty's first birthday.
ReplyDeletegood morning, Toads. a cobwebby day for me, what an auspicious start to the week. and you know, now i'm marking my productivity based on whether i got somethin' new to share here on Mondays. maybe you are, too. well this week, i don't! so here is a poem i wrote a few weeks back. sigh.
ReplyDeleteThis is my Saturday morning poem, so thanks to those who have already reviewed it.
ReplyDeleteI linked this one to yesterday, too. It's hot off the press, written just minutes ago with Mary Ann's beautiful inspiration. Have a great week everyone!
ReplyDeleteGot to know about this on FB. Sharing a poem to take the feel. :)
ReplyDeleteUgh! FB :(
ReplyDeleteI suppose it was only a matter of time before we became fodder for social networks.
I'm new to blogging, but just started one....I've posted some of my older poems and will add new ones as time allows. Thank you so much.
ReplyDeleteI will be back to catch up on my commenting... busy week AND "snow day" (ha ha what NC thinks is a snow day) with all kids at home... ADORABLE photo!
ReplyDeleteFor the new (and old toads) here ~ Can you please turn off your word verification so commenting is easier?
ReplyDeleteThanks ~
Better late than never. I just wrote a new very short one.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Heaven. Let's ban word verification!
It seems like there were a lot of off-kilter love songs, so...
ReplyDeleteI forgot to leave a comment when I posted my day's effort, my entire day's output.
ReplyDeleteBut I want to say I love the photo here. I just discovered a name on a branch near the bottom, but my poor old eyes can't quite make it out. Like those new Blogger verification words, hard to see and harder to copy.

Mine is a couple of days new! K.
ReplyDeleteForever showing up late to the party!
ReplyDeleteI combined last week's Haiku challenge with this open link opp. Thanks for the garden, guys!
