The definition, according to thefreedictionary.com:

1. An evildoer; a villain.
2. An infidel; a heretic
- adj. Lacking in conscience or moral principles; unscrupulous.
- adj. Holding an incorrect religious belief.
- n. One who has behaved badly, or illegally.
- n. One not restrained by moral principles; an unscrupulous villain.
- n. One who holds an incorrect religious belief; an unbeliever.
Now use your imagination and write a poem using miscreant. Perhaps my photos will inspire you. If you use one, all I ask is that you give me proper credit. Here's more of my pictures, if you're interested. Link your piece below and visit others taking part in the challenge.
Kewl. Miscreants. *rubs hands together and cackles*
ReplyDeleteI too used the word "cackle" today! How exciting. I love words, and herein confess to cruelty in the use of some (now that I have abandoned the game).
ReplyDeletePS. I like the new picture with the shy toad.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very tasty word!
ReplyDeleteAnd thank you, Laurie, for putting your pics at our disposal.. I'm thinking in terms of a Sunday feature in the near future too!
Thanks, Kerry. I'd love that. Today is my daughter's 13th birthday so I'll be in and out... but I will get to everyone's link.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurie for the prompt and gracious offer of your pics!!!
ReplyDeleteSmiles...will be around tonight to read! :)
Thanks for this challenge, Laurie. I had entirely too much fun with it.

ReplyDeleteThanks to all of you who've participated and those who will... I'll keep checking!
ReplyDeleteI'm in ... but late. Sorry. I got very sidetracked when doing some research for this one. :)
ReplyDeleteMan, it took me a long time to come up with something for this, but I'm happy with what I finally wrote.
ReplyDeleteI love it, Shay.
ReplyDeleteI found using miscreant difficult. Anyone else?
I gave this a shot, with Laurie's great photo of gulls and the idea of a trail of crumbs.I used your photo, Laurie, hope that I gave the proper credit for that! Posted on my Quillfyre blog at wordpress.
