For the past two weeks, I’ve been battling tooth pain. It all began when I had to get a crown to replace an old one. After they put the temporary on, my tooth got infected... which led to a root canal yesterday.
The pain has been excruciating. In fact, I could even say it’s been phantasmagoric… and that, my friends, is our word for the day.

ReplyDeleteAnyone with tooth pain has my genuine sympathy, as I have been there, as have so may of us. I hope this will be the end of the dental issues for you, Laurie. Great word for us to work with today.

So sorry you've been suffering! But if that's what it took to come up with such a word, well... How can you complain? LOL Thanks for the inspiration for a bit of madness on my part. :)

ReplyDeleteOh, Laurie, I hope the pain doesn't last. The trouble with tooth pain is it's all in our heads, where we live. Interferes with the creative process.

I'm wishing you well and pain-free, while wishing I had more imagination in order to do justice to today's challenge.

First of all, in regards to the tooth ordeal...OUCH! Been there, done that, hope to never ever EVER go there again! Hope you feel better soon! ReplyDeleteAm not sure if I met the meaning of the word, but did give it a try. I love words, unusual words,... I had a difficult time grasping the meaning of the prompt word (won't try to spell it here).
If anyone gets through to Daydreamer, please tell her that she probably has comments in spam, as I wrote a post on her WP blog and it never appeared so I know it is in spam; and there is NO way I can contact her. I don't know why some WP blogs are that way.
