I can't help but be filled with the joys of Spring, dear friends, even though this means that our Northern Hemisphere toads may be anticipating the cold months that lie ahead. Change is definitely in the air!
My customary Monday welcome is extended to all visitors to the garden, old and new. I encourage our regulars to invite a friend to join us in sharing and reading poetry. This is an opportunity to make new connections and create bonds between writers of poetry. I saw this cartoon on a blog last week, and though it made me laugh, I really hope it is not true of those who call themselves toads.
hello to all the toads..it's my first time here. I shared a poem which reminds me autumn is nearing - it's just that... I love rain. :)
ReplyDeleteHola, Happy Monday everyone.I have shared a Haiku this time. Now off to read others :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring, Kerry. I posted yesterday's poem again. It's still hot here, but also Labor Day which often marks the end of summer. School begins.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm thickheaded this morning and misunderstood the prompt - forgive me. I'll put up a spring poem. If you want to delete the other one, moderator, that will be fine with me.
ReplyDeleteMy spring poem, she says sheepishly.
ReplyDeleteDebi, there are no restrictions or guidelines for Monday's Open Link here in the Garden. poems on any subject are welcome! thank you for sharing your writing with us. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Marian. I didn't know - I thought maybe the first part of the post was a prompt. : )
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, all. I have offered a slightly older poem for today's OLM. ~ M
ReplyDeleteFree as a bird? I wish . . .

I see Lindy sneaked into my ID line again (#23). That's because Open Link always follows Pet Pride, where I let her share the byline, or give her top billing. But don't worry, she won't dig in the garden, she's sound asleep.

Happy Spring Kerry! Welcome Natasa!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed visiting the garden today, and all of the offerings of the generous toads.
ReplyDeleteMy comp was out for most of the day. I will try to make some visits tonight!
ReplyDeleteHey Kerry - so wonderful to think of you getting ready for Spring! A beautiful late summer day here raining and sun, though now it's pouring and I think fall will be coming with the rain. k.
