Welcome to the Imaginary Garden!
Good Monday morning, dear Toads, and welcome to December. Our Chief Toad being away, I’m pleased to have the privilege of welcoming all members and visitors to the Imaginary Garden, and to invite you to share a poem with us today. Link up any poem you like, and please remember to visit some of the other poets who have joined us today, as well. With such a variety of talent visiting our Garden, traversing the Monday links is always pleasing.
Good morning everyone. I hope this is a great week for everyone! I have been struggling with writing of late so that is why I have been absent from the garden. This poem was inspired by Marian's prompt from Friday and sort of from Kerry's Sunday prompt...
ReplyDeleteGood morning to everyone, I wish you an inspirational beginning of December! I'm sharing an old poem of mine, since the snow reminded me of it. But am looking forward to writing new things.. like Susie, I've been struggling to write at all.
ReplyDeletegood morning, friends! i'm grateful for all of you. :)
ReplyDeleteIs it the darkness? I too have struggled-
ReplyDeleteGood morning Marian-what a lovely welcome and beginning to December~
Happy Monday Toads~
Some say Turkey calms, but it may make us sluggish after eating too much ... or maybe it's eating the dark chocolate pecan pie-lets, three of them? A harvest holiday is major stimulation and withdrawal, though gratitude lingers. And the days are still getting shorter, to be released at the Solstice. (I think by the time a bright star appeared, the days were very very small.) Write on, even only a phrase or two.
ReplyDeleteAnother attempt with the Roundel...thank you for this lovely welcome!
ReplyDeleteBack on track after a great Thanksgiving! I don't want to see another plateful of turkey and stuffing for about… another month. :)

ReplyDeleteAs I am still stuck on the piece that I've been working on for what seems like a pair of forevers, I'm dusting off and cleaning up another old war horse.
