Welcome to the Imaginary Garden!
The Ice Floes by Claude Monet |
Some of us are in a deep freeze, while others are experiencing a heat wave. And there’s the beauty of our Garden: some feel like writing cooold poems, while others sweat it out on the page. One can never predict what might be found while exploring the various corners of our world.
In that spirit, we invite everyone to share a poem with us here today. Link up any poem you like, and please remember to visit some of the other poets who have joined in. Everyone likes to know that friends have stopped by, and we all appreciate comments. Enjoy, and stay warm! Or, keep cool!
I'm first...that doesn't happen often!! Happy Monday everyone!! Hope this will be a great week for all!!
ReplyDeleteOne of my short term goals for this year is to get back to writing more, and participating of sharing and commenting here, because I love this group of people. <3
ReplyDeleteKisses,
KC
nice to be in the garden again.. :)
ReplyDeleteOMG, Open Link Monday already and I'm days, perhaps weeks, behind in commenting.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks to all of you have commented when I've managed to write something. I appreciate more than you know.
As the Governator said in a previous life, "I'll be back."

Hi all, I spent yesterday catching up. The first week of January has delivered an amazing wealth of poetry. I have linked up the poem I wrote for Music with Marian, since I am hopelessly late for that link.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy week!
Happy New Year everyone!

ReplyDeleteCan't believe the holidays are over and a New Year underway.
ReplyDeletegood morning everyone!
ReplyDeleteSharing an old one today--Happy Monday!
ReplyDeleteHello fellow poets! Today my routine changes for 2014. Let the new year begin! Woo Hoo!
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while since I have been here or for that matter written a poem. So, like others have said - it's time.
ReplyDeleteHe's baaaaccckkk...
ReplyDeleteTrying to slip back into my poetry writing mode. The holidays were such a distraction!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful full garden today!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for holding the space, Marian!
Didn't make a contribution tonight - Was at the horse barn late making sure the horses had extra hay, filled water buckets and walked them a bit. It is supposed to get down to 5 degrees - for our area that is cold. Now my daughter and I are watching the newest season of Downton Abbey!!! I can't wait for the whole PBS to dribble by one week at a time! Will probably be up until 3 a.m. with my college age daughter. FUN :)
ReplyDelete…well. My daughter had to take a phone call, so I had fifteen minutes to "feel a poem" and just not be fussy and write it down. I might make many changes in the morning - but this is what I have so… I will be buy to visit and comment in the morning (we have a TWO HOUR schools delay because…. it is COLD. Ha ha. Have the southerners ever heard of hats, scarves, and mittens? No precipitation, just single digits for an hour or two. BUT I'm not complaining - I will be here with coffee visiting 'ya'll" :)
ReplyDeleteit was my birthday today...still, I wanted to post something.
ReplyDeleteWell, I am so very late that it is Tuesday. I have missed reading and writing and I look forward to doing both.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year everyone! I wrote this poem when I was taking out the trash last night here in Tucson...and it has nothing to do with trash!
