It's Hannah with your inspirational Natural Wonder to jazz up you Friday muse!!
The place: Naica Mine, Mexico
Here's an introduction via a Discovery special featuring the crystal caves...one of them is called the Cave of Swords (Spanish: Cueva de las Espadas).
Watch as little or as much of this as you like. I find the story quite intriguing. :)

Poets, feel free to address any angle of this place and topic as you wish.
Please offer a new creation and be kind, visit a few of your friendly poet neighbor's crystal formations, too.
Thank you so much for playing along!
Happy writing and a peaceful weekend to all!
YAY! My heart leapt when I saw "transforming Friday" on my blogroll! I love your prompts which take me to my favorite place - the natural world. I so love crystals.....saw a fantastic amythyst on someone's blog yesterday - hmmm....was it yours? That I would give a considerable amount (if I had it) to possess:)
ReplyDeleteMine's a little goofy!
ReplyDeleteI guess it's a miracle people havent gone into these caves and stripped them of their crystals already! Am happy to see they have scientists there studying and, hopefully, preserving them as is.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is gorgeous! Off to gather insight, once I get the glue off my fingers-
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Toads!
As usual, Hannah, you SHINE. Thanks for the awesome prompt this morning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fascinating environment.
ReplyDeleteAwww...thank you, De!!
ReplyDeleteHappy day! So glad to see you, poets!!
I look forward to your words and poetic hearts!
I'm going to be creating a piece of jewelry with a beautiful amethyst pendant and some fire agate...a gift!! Be round to read soon! xo
Thank you, Hannah ~~ Who'd a thunk you too would like a rock!
ReplyDeleteI do pick up rocks from some of the places I've been. I even have a large coconut from Hawaii that is now a door stopper. Some I remember, others I can't. I should have labeled them.
..
Interesting Hannah ~ Thanks for featuring this natural wonder ~
ReplyDeleteI will see what words will come ~
Happy Friday ~
I love your prompts, Hannah. I have a short one today, that I am already wishing I had put active volcanoes in. Oh Well. Next time. I'll be out of town and out of touch for the next 30 hours or so. I'll check in on Sunday to enjoy everyone's poetry.
ReplyDeleteFirst time here. Mine is…well perhaps a little eerie, but this is where the picture took me.
