Mini-Challenge: Flash Fiction 55!
Hello dear Toads and pond people! Today, Flash Fiction 55 finds its permanent home at TIGWRT, and will appear the first Saturday of each month, hosted by either Mama Zen or me (Fireblossom). Of course, the welcome ghost of the G Man will surely be there, too! He ran the show in fine style for seven years before asking us to take it over.
FF55 is easy! All you do is write a poem or a piece of flash fiction in exactly 55 words, no more, no less. it can be in any style and on any subject. it can be funny or serious. Anything goes, as long as the word count is exactly 55 words!
Have fun!
Good grief! It's today! Off to see what my scrambled brain can concoct.
ReplyDeleteToday it is! Welcome to the Flash 55, and to all regular participants from G-Man's place. We hope to keep the spirit of Galen's meme alive here in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWhat Hedge said!

ReplyDeleteYeah... I have missed the 55 :-) off to do some writing :-)
ReplyDeleteI never participated on FF55, but I'm off to give it a go.
ReplyDeleteOh, I like the look of this. Thanks for pointing it out Magaly. This will be a real challenge...
ReplyDelete55 words done. That was a lot of fun. I'll definitely be back!
ReplyDeleteI sneaked in earlier without speaking. Mine is 55 words about the use of a sonnet. It's wonderful that you picked up the 55 challenge. I hope we'll still have the "Words Count" too. I like the variety and feeling of randomness.
ReplyDeleteMy first try at this prompt. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy limits...oddly, it pushes me to be stronger in my choices.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to try out FF55 Thank you!

ReplyDeleteThis was harder than I thought... First attempt, but so happy for the challenge!

ReplyDeleteI can't do Math, Shay, though I'm often telling my students to watch the word count when they are practicing writing essay for examinations.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to give it a try, because it's you asking. <3
Writing on the fly for this one. So glad you women saved Flash 55. Many thanks for keeping the community going. As you can tell from my 55, I would rather spend time with you folks than others I know!
ReplyDeleteobligation.
