Good morning sweet Toad folk, Fireblossom stepping in here to do our Word List for today! The idea is simple. Use at least three words from the list and include them in an original NEW poem and then simply sign the linky so that we can come see what you have created!
While you must use at least three words from the list, feel free to use as many more of them as you would like. Today's words come from one of my all-time favorite novels, "The Myth Of You And Me" by Leah Stewart. I would tell you what it's about, but I don't want to influence the poems you may write! Have fun, Toads and pond friends.

Good morning beautiful! I'm taking these words with me to my next class and will look at them while my students sit for their exams. I'll be back later with a poem. <3
ReplyDeleteYay Kenia!
ReplyDeleteThanks for an amazing list of words, Shay, and for hosting this month's word list.
ReplyDeleteI do hope something will stir in me, since most of my poems have reached dead-ends this past week.
Very homey... Appropriate for me today as we finally received an offer on our home!
ReplyDeleteYummy word list. Now that my entry is up, I'm off to find a bit about The Myth of You and Me! You've left me all kinds of curious. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shay. Your list helped me finish off the poem I started for FF55 - which it is no longer.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love to get list-y! Thank you, Shay!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stepping in and doing the challenge, Shay. I am not feeling very sparky, but will see if anything bubbles up later in the rather moribund cauldron.
ReplyDeleteI love word lists, and usually try to use all the words, but not today, I think. I'll stick to "at least three" and see what happens.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shay!
Luv, K
I loved that book, too, Shay. May even be time for a re-read.
ReplyDeleteThanks Shay for the list. It sparked another Twila poem!
ReplyDeleteWow...I made it to a prompt...I am proud of myself...Thank you Shay for a wonderful prompt. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Shay--I first thought fanciful, but didn't get to jot that one down and then went quite serious. I will get around to visit, but very very very tired right now--Agh! Take care, and thanks for cool list. k.
ReplyDeleteLove your picture, Shay. Until May 12, my kids lived just around the corner from there. Our granddaughter crosses there still, every morning and evening with her daddy going and coming to kindergarten. For the last six weeks except for our time in Wales
ReplyDeleteI'm not at home and only have my iPad here but tomorrow I will copy your picture and send it to her. But, ... no way will I show her my poem. What Grandpa did no way should she!

Oops, lost the Internet last night at, 11:00. We are at the church, spent the night with some homeless families. All single moms and kids this time, really cute kids. It's a sad world but these all have jobs now, some two, and are well on their way to graduation from our Family Promise (Google that) chapter here.
..
Meant to say that for the last six weeks we have been in London with the families. It's our daughter with the job there, a nice one.
ReplyDelete..
Hello, this is my first link to your beautiful site. Looking forward to reading all the list-y works!
ReplyDeleteLate to the party, as usual, but fortunately(or unfortunately for poor bemused readers) I had a dream, grabbed some words, and here I am. Be around later to read those I haven't.
ReplyDeleteSeemed like a good list for a photo I took in Ireland.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time as a real toad!! dont how well it went but here goes :))
ReplyDeleteAbbey Road Crossing WebCam
