Good morning, friends! I'm really choked up and distracted about the killing of so many people in Orlando. Maybe some of you are, too. Am sharing a poem I wrote just before. Part of me feels like putting down my pen now. You? Big love to everybody. xoxo
Am sharing a poem that I wrote earlier this week, about my feelings on the Orlando massacre and my own struggle, with survivor guilt, in having surviving several trans-bashing that could have cost me, my own life.
The Peace theme is perfect! I'm hoping a little humor will help everyone's mood. Writing helps me through just about anything I am so happy I have such an outlet.
I like your theme. We all need to be thinking of peace at a time like this. Many posts came up when I 'searched' my blog for "peace". I chose this 2014 poem, an ode to my good friend who died at age 96 on June 17, 2014. Though he was years and years older than me he was still better at golf than I was. As is this linking, it was posted late and didn't get much exposure than. ..
Sharing a prose poem I wrote on the two things that give me the most peace (other than being out in nature) -- music and writing. I look forward to reading what others have shared in the spirit of peace...thanks Marian.

Each day brings with it devastating news from around the globe. The deaths in Orlando particularly senseless and heart-breaking.
