Welcome to the Imaginary Garden! Please link up a poem of your choice today, and take some time during the week to visit others who have shared their own. Raise your voice!
I had to return to share this. Listen. Weep. And listen again. We need to. http://www.npr.org/event/music/466209900/singing-for-life-in-a-crypt-in-harlem?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=classical&utm_term=music&utm_content=20160711
This poem has been in my head since all of the terrible violence. It's all so upsetting that we still can't get along as a people. I just keep thinking, all lives matter! This is the name of my poem.
I've been super busy with a new baby (a kitten I trapped), and offline life. I'm lucky I could squeeze biking in last week but I'm back to writing. I will be around to read and apologize that I fell behind so much lately.
Date night with hubby - what do you know? and I travel to the coast to pick up my daughter Thursday morning. I will visit and respond Wednesday night. So glad to be all moved in and ready to enjoy the summer. And GLAD to be backing the Garden :)
Good heavens, I'm first! :-)
ReplyDeleteYikes! I'm second. Good morning, all. Pleased to visit the pond today.
