“If the sight of the blue skies
fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to
move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand,
rejoice, for your soul is alive.” ~ Eleonora Duse
Few things make me grin wider or
brighter than the sight of Nature showing off. Heart-stirring poetry has a
similar effect, and the latter can be relived over and over and over…
So, dear Toads and visitors,
let’s share some of the poetry that remind our spirits we are alive. Share a
new poem, an old poem, a short poem, any poem… then, rejoice in what others
shared.
Happy Tuesday everyone!
ReplyDeleteHello Magaly... and all toads! Have a great Tuesday. I'll be back and forth to catch up during the day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday everyone!💞
ReplyDeleteThank you for this beautiful inspirational quote.
ReplyDeleteHello all... linked up a short piece in defense of witches.
ReplyDeleteI had planned my Monday WRites for sharing with today Platform, but Magaly's prompt inspired to share also a new poem of today: my fourth rainbow sighting for 2018
ReplyDeleteHave a good Tuesday everyone
much love...
Good to see ya again, Toads!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are all having a great Tuesday and not shivering too much if you're in the Northern hemisphere. I'm glad the toads is the imaginary garden don't hibernate!
ReplyDeleteKim, your thoughts on the non-hibernating nature of the Imaginary Garden made me giggle. Thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteI wrestled with words today - too tired - but was inspired by the image and quote. The words came first and the image and corresponding story as a compliment.
ReplyDeletethanks Magaly for the dance of light - hope everyone had a wonderful Tuesday.
Glad you enjoy the harbingers of Spring! Autumn here is always lovely, so I don't mind contemplating its approach, either. However, it's not a nature poem I have for you today.
ReplyDeleteWishing all a wonderful Wednesday - I have been reading Kathleen Raine and so took some of her lines further
ReplyDeleteI am having some trouble with my very old and out-dated PC, which is why my comments are lagging. Trying to resolve the issue!
ReplyDeletenature; we are all one
ReplyDeleteHappy Hump Day to all. I think the light verse to which I linked just might be considered my "poetic" manifesto...
ReplyDeleteYay, it's Wednesday. hi everybody! looks around the room, anybody? laughing. Cleaning out an old blog to close it down, making sure everything transferred and came across it. I put up one I did six months ago.

@Priscilla, I don't have Google+, so I shall comment here: Your "bad poetry" made me grin like a loon. Effective. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi friends, I'm so late.... it's Wednesday night but heck, I wrote a poem, which is something at least, so am sharing. Hope you all are well and happy. xoxox M.
