Eres Tú

Carla Morrison needs no introduction and provides plenty of inspiration!

  1. Thank you for the prompt Marian. The quality of her voice hit me most. and the dearth of older people at the wedding. such a fantastic mix of joy and sadness. I hope you all like my offering.

oh and in other news, i'm featured on NaPoWriMo today! http://www.napowrimo.net/day-fourteen-5/ Holy Moley! Thank you all for being such an inspiration!

  3. I had not heard of Carla either. Wikipedia has a shortish blurb of her life, it was interesting. This time though I decided to write on the NaPoWriMo prompt, the "wobbly table." I did link to the Toads though, and named you, Marian, as host today.

  4. Thanks Marian. Chilled toons for the morning is good with me. Muse took this away from me though.

  6. Loved the music video! I'm a little behind, trying to catch up and working on something a little more battle weary but I hope to come back to this prompt.

    Thanks, Marian.

  8. Hi, friends. I'm going to be away all day but will be around to read everyone's entries, probably tomorrow. Sorry about that. Enjoy the day! Today it is finally spring-like here in Massachusetts, but it supposed to turn cold and icy tomorrow. Must soak in sunshine while possible. Love to you all, xoxo

  9. I was another who did need an introduction to Carla. Thanks for that. And the prompt put me in mind of a recent family occasion.

  10. Er...I never heard of her either. I like the way she rolls her R's.

  13. Thank you for the prompt Marian. Although I find music prompts annoying as I feel the music manipulates the feelings behind the poem and I don't speak Spanish not have I ever heard of the artist. I cut the sound off after a minute and enjoyed the video immensely.

  14. Margaret, I'm sorry for not reading or commenting on your poem but I couldn't access it for some reason.

Same here, Margaret, no access to your blog. Say it isn't so!
