Just One Word: Sensation

Hello, Weekend Toads!
Here is just one word to inspire poems for this weekend:
sensation

Paul Signac, Opus 217. Against the Enamel of a Background Rhythmic with Beats and Angles, Tones, and Tints, Portrait of M. Félix Fénéon in 1890
Hope everyone is well and happy!
So far, my 2019 has been dominated by sickness and work deadlines,
but I think I’m pulling out of it and working toward feeling sensational.
How about you?

  2. Thrilled to feel sensation as I had a TIA (transient ischemic attack) on Thursday. No after effects, CT Scan of my brain was clear. Bring on any and every sensation ~~ I plan on embracing them.

  3. Marian, I love the freedom you've been giving us with your challenges lately. They've been a perfect mixture of go-do-your-own-thing and here-is-something-to-inspire-you. I enjoy having choices. And my Muse gets all happy and productive when she sees them.

  6. I had to play around with the word... and ended up where the rhymes led me in 55 words.

  7. Hello, friends!
@Magaly, I'm glad! I was thinking I might throw in a form challenge now and then. I was getting a bit bored of coming up with new or recycled forms every month so what the heck. :)

  9. Well now, Marian, I had no idea you were still feeling Punk. You did well on this one. Hoping you will be ALL better soon. Helen, no more TIA sensations, please. I got your inch and took a mile but I did use the word, sensation in my write. I didn't like it as well as I like my idea but it is all I have.
BTW, Mrs. Jim and I have been feeling Punky since the second week of January, a looong lasting cold? Gradually we are getting better.

  11. Wishing you all a happy Sunday morning and thank you for hosting, Marian. I'm glad to read that you are getting over sickness and getting to grips with work deadlines. 'Sensational' sent me off in all kinds of directions but in the end I returned to our garden where it's raining this morning.
