Greetings to all toads, poets and wayfarers! This is Kerry, standing in for Anmol who is currently moving to a home in a new city. He will be back in the Garden in July. I am sharing a recent illustration I did for a poem from my Skylover Collection, called Arms of Orion. I have been keeping myself occupied this way during my winter vacation. Always good to take time out for creativity!
Arms of Orion: Self Portrait
Kerry O'Connor
The poem can be read by following the linky to Skylover or on Instagram, where many of our fellow toads are to be found. Do pay a visit to their pages, where a whole lot of magic abounds!
Please feel free to share your own IG address in comments below - and let me know if I have omitted anyone of the toad clan! We are here to share in the joy and fellowship as well as poetry.
It has been a while since I hosted the Tuesday Platform, so I am looking forward to a wonderful selection of poems today. My Skylover post is on a non-comment blog, so I invite you to simply read and reflect.
Thank you for hosting us today, Kerry! ❤️ I am sharing an older poem today which I wrote during April for Anmol’s prompt 😊 where he asked us to reimagine myths and come up with our own. Happy Tuesday! ❤️
I haven't moved the last two hours, I woke up early and couldn't sleep. Early, very. So I ginned up an "early: write. Thank you, Kerry, for hosting. I'll read your Skylover, I hope to learn, you are my main teacher. ..
If you read early, then since I took my father bit out and replaced with expanded trip to grandmother's house to wash our clothes in her machine. We were very poor...
YAY! It's Kerry hosting! I love your drawing, Kerry. It is wonderful. I shared, not a poem, but a wonderful adventure I had on Friday, so everyone can meet a couple who are living their dream in a beautiful way. Enjoy!
Kerry, I so loved your poem... if there is anything I think is unexplored is sci-fi poetry ... I only know of Aniara, and that is not available in English any longer.
I'm coming a bit late to this. Have spent the last couple of days resurrecting my 'verse portraits' blog, which basically meant creating and designing a new one. So I share my first new poem posted there.
Wonderful drawing, Kerry (and I am very fond of Orion).
I do have an Instagram account and even a few followers – which must be very disappointing for them as I haven't posted anything yet. I started it to look at other people's posts, but have done little of that either, so far. I think it's time I had a good look around and then plunged in!

DeleteI liked Kerry's "Sonnet 41". I used to ponder going back but no more after sitting beside my ex for granddaughter's looong wedding.
