My Story by Karina llergo (used with permission)
"Throughout her professional life, Karina painted and worked tirelessly to develop her unique style. As a lifelong dancer, competitive swimmer and enthusiastic skydiver, she found herself drawn to depicting on canvas the palpable energy of the human body in motion. Driven by these fascinations and armed with her talent for figurative painting , Karina found a way to translate her observations and creative imagination into thought-provoking paintings of breathtaking beauty.

Sorry you will no longer be hosting here. Perhaps as a guest. I know a writer doesn't stop writing so please don't let go from posting here. We are geographical neighbors who haven't personally met so I have interest that way also.
ReplyDeleteThis is an intriguing art image for which to write. I will read about "figurative painting" and of Karina Llegro herself. But I am on a Sabbatical leave from posting, until early December at least. So I probably won't post even though I may dabble in writing.
..
Going to miss you in the Garden! Like Jim, I have decided to step away from writing for s bit. Actually going back to school ... a writing class at Oregon State-Cascades! Happy Holidays.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll still be in the garden even if you won't be prompting us. This picture and the other artwork is glorious. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great image!
ReplyDeleteI confess I am feeling sad at the dwindling days of the Pond and its denizens.
Susie, what a great prompt. Yes, the days dwindle down. What a journey it has been. I feel very lucky to have swum this pond with all the Toads.
ReplyDeleteLove the image... I will get back to reading tomorrow, right now it's too late for me.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking picture. All the layers of meaning got me writing and rewriting until finally the words took shape.
ReplyDeleteStill cogitating...I want to write you something good, not just anything. ;-)
ReplyDeleteFeeling sad ... is The Garden going away?
ReplyDeleteJim, enjoy your sabbatical. We all need them. Enjoy the holidays!
ReplyDeleteHelen, Congratulations on going back to school!! Enjoy the holidays!
Debi, I will be writing as always.
Fireblossom, looking forward to what you create!
Sherry, Yes it has been a wonderful journey and blessing to be a Toad
Helen, Yes the garden will close for writing the end of the year, but will be archived so we can continue to visit, read, and be inspired.
I quickly played here in the Garden today - a ten-minute whirl and I'm off to rearrange my refrigerator for all the food. I'll be back this evening. Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating the holiday.
