Fireblossom Friday #4 -- I Love A Man (Or Woman) In Uniform!

Hello Toads and pond followers! Fireblossom here, with another Fireblossom Friday challenge!

Oh look...our driver is here...

Just give your bags to the bellman and we'll be on our way.

Who knows how far we may go? We may see the seven seas...

We may brave snow and sleet and gloom of night to make our appointed rounds...

Or we may just be homebodies, but we'll want someone to tidy up a bit.

If there's one thing that brings out the savage in most of us,

It's a good looking man in uniform!

Or woman! So, c'mon, be a good sport and take the FBF challenge.

Just write a new poem about anyone in uniform and post it on your blog! Link back to this post, and sign the linky. Nothing to it! But remember...only sign the linky if you are doing the Fireblossom Friday challenge.

Dani--you KNOW i loved yours! And do you know what? I tried for quite a while to find just the right pic of a firefighter, but never found one I really liked. Sorry!

  4. Haha! What if a man in uniform has the opposite effect... being a pacifist and all?

  7. I LOVE Fireblossom Fridays! They are always fun! I shall Ponder, which may take more cups of caffeine - or maybe I need it injected directly into my Head:). I checked: I woke up this morning, and I'm still old.

  8. I have written of the uniform I not only find most attractive, but would have liked to have worn. Great prompt, Fireblossom. (Please have patience, toads and friends, as I am recovering from a fall that messed up my hands so can only type a bit at a time.)

  10. A man in uniform can be sentimental, too. Thanks for the great prompt, Shay.

  12. Hey! Isn't that guy in the top picture the chauffeur in "Downton Abbey"? I used one of the characters for my little creation this evening!

  14. Oh, Shay, not you, too. I hope you feel better soon.
I don't know many people in uniform, although there was a cute American sailor in 1965...
Seriously, I thought about hockey players and baseball players, and then remembered there's one man in uniform about whom I've written before, but his story doesn't grow old, at least not in my family.
    Take care of yourself, now.
