Open Link Monday

Let's take a walk in the garden...

Secret Garden
Favim.com

Who could resist such an appealing invitation: an old brick wall, a rustic gate standing open and a garden path beckoning?
This is the invitation we extend to all-comers, every Monday, with our Open Link.  Here you may share your latest piece of writing, seek commentary on an older poem lost to your archives or simply enjoy the wonderful reading on offer by our members and friends.
Please remember that our Linkys do not expire, so late additions are always welcome.  Our only request is that you join in our poetic ramble in the spirit in which it is intended: link original work, and return commentary.

  2. I think I'm back for real now, Kerry, although I hesitate to say it aloud for fear a virus or a germ strike me down as soon as I've started to enjoy writing again.

  6. Good morning Kerry,
What a nice way to start the week. I enjoy my visits here.
    Do I recognize that path?
    Not quite sure.
Immersed in Olympic endeavours here. Most of them delight me, some make me ponder.

  8. Kerry: I so wanted to tell Adrian AIDZ how I loved his poem, but his comment system doesn't allow blogspot comments.

  16. This is my first time posting to this site so I hope I followed all the instructions. I posted a link to a poem I wrote a few months ago. The above photo, which is lovely, brought the poem to my mind. I hope you enjoy it. I plan to return later to look at all the other poems. Thanks for this lovely site.(I just realized I did not link to your site in my old post. Hope that is OK)

  19. Hi like it Mom Z. I could spend the day in there with a chair and a book (or my laptop doing catch-up work).

Be sure to open the picture to my lonely place. It is not nearly as inviting as yours.

  20. Hi Kerry, I am linking a rather grim poem (sorry), not sure it's one of my best lately, but I did a recorded reading of it for With Real Toads, and I think the recording is kind of interesting. It's a pantoum and the recording makes the differences in the repeated lines much more real than looking at them on the page. Hope all is well over there! k.
