Good day to all toads, wanderers and bards! You are all most welcome to rest awhile in our garden. Share a tale, visit with a friend, leave your thoughts behind.

This open link affords us all the opportunity to present a poem of our own choice, without any stipulation except that this space be treated with due consideration for all, in the Real Toads spirit.

  3. It is a beautiful morning to rest in the Garden! My poem "Soul Mate" is about a week old and some of you may have seen it at Poetry Pantry #110. I'll be back later to hang out with other Toads and Guests.

  8. I noticed that several pantoums were posted recently, so I dug around for one I wrote a few years back. I suggest you read the accompanying article, as it may not seem relevant without the context.

  10. I'm always so impressed by people who have poems "lying around" ready for Open Link Monday. All my old work is lost in the mists of time, except for one short poem and one prose poem, both of which I've already submitted for previous Open Links.
So it will be something new this week, or nothing at all. I'm feeling much better, however, so I'll be able to comment on everyone else's work.

  11. Sorry I have been M.I.A. the last few days. I have been working with the editor on my first poetry book. So many minor changes and decisions. Hopefully that is behind me and I can get back to writing again.

  13. I'm in with my long-overdue response to Ella's challenge about giving voice to an ancestor...better late than never! Happy Monday to all who linger in the Garden!

  14. Posting an old friend who's received a bit of a nip-and-tuck, though a thorough Joan-Rivers issue rebuild might be in order.

  18. @ Amidemanila: Please could you post the link to the specific poem you want read rather than to your blog home page.

  19. Here's a poem I just wrote this week and, as a beginner, I am never sure if I'm still looking at a first draft or a completed poem. I admire all of the poets I see here, posting poems all the time. I'm a slow poke I guess. Thank you for hosting this site.

  20. Kerry, thanks for this. I had written this poem a long time ago and it really worked with some tweaking... well, lots of tweaking! Sorry to be so late to the party. Peace to all, and Adrian, sorry about your crash... I've had BSOD problems myself. Amy
