Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden...

Source
Greetings to one and all! I hope this Monday finds everyone in good spirits after the weekend, though I must admit I am finding them very short and am looking forward to some vacation time at the end of June. Another time that I look forward to is a Monday afternoon spent browsing through the many wonderful poems, which are shared by the friends of Real Toads. Therefore, let me say no more than to extend the invitation to link up your poem and enjoy your time spent reading. All comments and reviews are greatly appreciated. Please remember to reciprocate!

  2. Raining here. I fine-tuned my yawp, my howl after my heart opened in a weekend workshop. Here's my Sunday prompt for Monday. Have a loving week!

  5. A little too twee to sit down :-)
Besides, now that our weather has finally broken, we are far too busy to sit down. So much to catch up on.
Hope your northerners are finally warm too and the rest not too hot.

  6. I guess those garden chairs are for the cats ... just like my living room furniture. Looking at the photo more closely, I think those are "miniatures". (see the cardboard box to the right?)

So perhaps they are for a pair of toads! :)

    Either way, it is beautiful.

  8. Yes, Margaret, it is a miniature - perfect for toads.

I have challenged my classes to write 30 poems in June and I am sharing a few easy forms with them. Of course, I have to keep up with them, so here is another little short form.

  10. I entered a link that wasn't poetry and used the linky tool to remove it but I still see it and it's active. If you see this, it's a boo boo. Sorry. Have written to Mr. Linky for help.
