Open Link Monday

Love our Imaginary Garden!

Dubai Miracle Garden

Good Monday morning to all Toads and visitors. Here in New England, we got our first modest snow accumulation of the year, so everything is bathed in bright white. For some of you, all's in bloom and heating up. I love that about our Garden: the wide range of location, experience, and message shared here from week to week.

In that spirit, we invite all of you to share a poem with us here today. Link up any poem you like, and please remember to visit some of the other poets who have joined in. Everyone likes to know that friends have stopped by, and we all appreciate comments. Enjoy!

  3. I love the pic, Marian. Our snow has melted, but I know it will be back. Those under the white blanket, stay warm and safe.

  4. My poem is a mash-up of Corey and Shay's prompts. I missed out on some excellent challenges!

  5. I was introduced to Dubai Miracle Garden by a friend who is living there and posted some photos to Facebook. The photo in last week's OLM is by my friend, Bree Freeman. This one is from their website. It looks amazing!

  7. Not so fond of snow. Lots of it in the garden. Good excuse to stay indoors and read.

  9. Linked here and to Sunday's prompt. Truly, I feel totally unworthy to write a poem about Nelson Mandela.

  10. Mine is my Merry Christmas Card to y'all. Stay warmer than I am, here in Madison! Peace, Amy (my warts are still here, guess they don't know I'm not a toad anymore!)

  13. It's been Tuesday for an hour, and my computer is about to tell me it's going to sleep so I'd better do the same, but a very open link Monday kind of poem popped into my head and demanded to be written an hour ago and kept me up late.
Ah—love—we are in its thrall, we poets, and it catches us whenever it can.

  14. A bit late to the party, but here's something windy and melancholy.

Been commenting on a few sites but my comments aren't appearing or I get logged out of google. Some Internet anomaly from their two-step verification processes. Sorry about that!
