Open Link Monday

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden ...

Warm greetings to all toads (frogs included) and friends of amphibious creatures. All are welcome to our weekly open link event in the garden. Last week flew by in a sweltering heatwave, and I have cause to envy the chill temperatures of the northern climes.
And here we are again, on another Monday, with the anticipation of a great week of poetry ahead of us. Please join us in sharing your pick of poems by linking up below. I encourage you to read and comment on the work of others. Very few poets can thrive in a vacuum - all reviews are much appreciated.

  1. The Boomtown Rats once sung, Monday I've Got Friday on My Mind. But today (tomorrow?) I've just got Tuesday, since the younger of my two sons becomes a teen. Yoiks! Good week to all ~

  3. Congrats on the graduation to the teen years, M--more aging for parent than child, I predict. And Happy Monday to the Garden.

  4. Hi, Everyone. Sorry to have been a sporadic visitor. Those of you who live in the States may have heard about the poisoned waters that we're dealing with in WV. This is still an uncertain situation. Beyond that, there is a family illness that has us upside down, so even though I intend to visit others, please don't hold it against me if I don't make it. I'll do my best to get a poetic respite!

  5. Morning, choir of croakers! Fogged in here today, feeling the chill breath of the Other. Sorry to hear about the heat way down under (I heard about 115-degree temps during the Australian Open) and drear waters in WV -- Keep the faith, at least in poetry!

  6. Greetings to all at the start of the week,

I stumbled (like you do...) across this site, following up my interest in Susie's sparkling writing at the end of this week and was thereby encouraged to post a link here to 'Graced' my first newly released poem this new year - hope you like it! And I now look forward to later reading the work of others here that I have not yet come across...

Thanks again to the RealToads community for the opportunity this affords. With Best Wishes Scott www.scotthastie.com

  8. All are most welcome, and it is no matter if your poem has been previously linked to another site - OLM allows for any piece of poetry with no prerequisites.
