ReplyDeleteI'd pretty well given up on Elvis Costello -- he warbles on though all youth is gone -- but your challenge has me giving him a second look, or maybe just a fond backwards look. Back at who I was in his lights, way back when ... and how, perhaps he lives on in the plush grave garden of the dream, which endlessly recycles our histories into mysteries. Much appreciated -- apologies for the shotgun poetry, fired off in such fast slapdash manner.

ReplyDeleteHa. Elvis Costello is married to Diana Krall, a much loved singer in Canada. They are both revered for their talent and must be a dynamic duo together - and they live forty minutes away from me.
