Chandelier

That this video by Sia has been viewed nearly a billion times doesn't make it any less fascinating or poetic. I just love this, truly. And hope you find some inspiration here.

  1. Hi Everyone, thought you'd be interested in the news that Emily Dickinson's bedroom at her homestead has been renovated, pretty cool: https://www.amherst.edu/news/news_releases/2015/10-2015/node/616807

  3. This is a beautiful video. I wrote a poem inspired by it last year, (which I cannot find on either blog....sigh...)

  4. What a video.. I have heard Sia many times... but I have to admit, it has more been in the background. Hmm let's see what I will come up with.

  5. I had never heard of Sia until just now. I had to look up her age--she's 39! She looks about ten in the video, which made it seem not a little disturbing.

  12. Sorry I've been absent, hellish week(s) for me culminating in a huge work deadline today. I'll be around to read later today and on the weekend.
The video IS disturbing (though gorgeous and what talent!) and that's why I like it so much. If I'm able to get a poem from this it ain't gonna be no stroll in the park, this brings up really dark images for me. (So not crazy, FB!)
Glad everyone is here and I can't wait to read what you've all written. M.
