The Tuesday Platform

Welcome to the Imaginary Garden...

This is our occasion to share a poem with a kind and willing audience. As always the rules are simple - there are none... this is simply an invitation to join in by linking up a poem of your choice, and hanging out with us to read and enjoy the gift of words.

  1. Welcome home, Kerry!!! We have been missing you here and there, but all was covered very well. Thank you too for taking time to read our stuff. Were you as busy as you thought going out?
Thank you for the Yeats reading, I loved it. Two things, I married young and it lasted 13 years and four kids. Mrs. Jim and I married older and so far it has gone 42 years and one more kid.
Other thing, my poem is about older 'love' if you'd call it love. BUT IT IS NOT A LOVE POEM. You have been warned. I'll take meds and post it, then go to bed.

  5. Hey Kerry--hope you rest up and get a break. I posted a political poem, but have one I liked --well, afraid to read it--that I posted Friday night and may if there are not too many--link as well, as it is more of a real poem, not diatribe. Anyway--rest! k.

  11. Kerry, thank you for pulling the link. I had pulled my poem. It wasn't the kind I like to write. With the word choice that whirligig had this week it seemed natural to write but I decided it was vulgar and not a bit cute.
I may write another for the platform but this one sort of left a bad taste in my mouth.
