The Tuesday Platform

It’s Tuesday! C’mon in, the platform is yours. We Toads invite you to share your poetry with us.

Long or short, old or new, it’s up to you. Remember that links in the Garden do not expire, so feel free to link up on Wednesday or later in the week. And please do take some time during the week to read the work of other participants. We all value feedback on our work from other writers; it is how our writing takes root and grow.

So, bring us your words! We look forward to reading your poems.

  1. I just reread Twelve Years A Slave, and that and one of Margaret's paintings she shared the other day inspired my poem.

  2. I'm just about to go off-line for a few days. I will still be reading posts on my Kindle p- can't miss my daily dose of poetry - but it's very temperamental and I won't be able to post!

  3. Morning all. Just back from a 4 day Music Medicine retreat where experience was the primary mode for me. (Plenty of writing to come I'm sure) Here's a wee poem to get me back on the rails.

  7. I am playing with the tan renga form this month, from prompts by Chevrefeuille at Carpe Diem – learning something new (for me). As they are very brief, I'm linking two such posts.

I've been gone for a few weeks not on purpose my life just got extremely busy but I'm back and ready to join in again. Can't wait to share and read this week! I've really missed writing and it's been years since I've taken a break this long. Happy to be back and sorry if I missed a read.

  15. @Bekkie: Aren't they cool? I don't know what they are called but will watch for their name. I took the photo at the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, MA. Next time I'll try to remember as they have markers with the plant names along the bridge. :)
