Hello dear Toads, and pond visitors. It's Fireblossom here in the driver's seat with your weekend photo prompt! This time, it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to all of you a very dear friend of mine, Daryl Edelstein. She has two blogs: On the m104: Out & About In New York City, and Through My Eyes, which is a more general photography blog. I just know you're going to love her work as much as I do, and find lots of writing inspiration!
So, if I can have your attention...
it's time...
to stop and smell the flowers,
listen to the rustle in the trees,
maybe even hop a fence or two,
peek in a window,
go down a flight of stairs,
and see the city, through Daryl's camera lens!
But, be careful,
follow the rules,
and watch out for strange creatures,
because I want you all home before dark
and all in one piece!
Oh, one last thing...
you've been Darylized!
Here's the challenge: write a poem inspired by any of these photographs of Daryl's. Be sure to give her credit for the photo you use, then link back here to Toads and sign the link! Simple Simon. I'm looking forward to seeing what all of you will write!

I don't know whether mine is for children or slightly addled adults! All the photos were great so I just plumped for the first.
Happy day from Marit , Norway.
I am, as a friend once malapropically said, 'knocked up' by your choices, I love them, I mean they're some of my favorites ... and I am looking forward to seeing, er, reading what these photos inspire .. thank you all .. this is very exciting for me
I'm stoked! Mine is up...a fine (I hope) bit of snark.
Thank you to Daryl for allowing us to use her wonderful photographs for our weekend photo prompt this week!
How fun is this and I love her perspective with a camera! I've got a busy horse clinic weekend, but this is something I must squeeze in!
All these images are wonderful. It was hard to choose! Thank you for sharing this talent!
Really enjoy these photographs--though I don't know how Daryl got my dog to hold still for a bath in that picture. ;-) Looks just like her. Anyway, mine's up, a cascade poem, a form I haven't played with in a long while, that seemed to suit the image of clock after clock in the third pic.
Oh, this is wonderful. I've loved Daryl's New York photos for years. She has such a great eye. But for some reason I haven't seen her lately, so I'm just going to have to follow her blog.
Thanks for the reminder. Now to choose a photo. All Daryl's photos are inspirational.

Great shots and a great set-up! I had a hard time choosing!
Fantastically talented photographer and a great prompt, Fireblossom. One suited what I had just written tonight - but it isnt a serious effort. I shall try to return and do Daryl's work more justice.
That was a great deal of fun... I always enjoy picture prompts... so much so that I used three of them. :)
Great pictures ~ My post is up ~
Really enjoyed her photography! I finally posted mine and will be back later tonight to relax and read the others.
Please ignore the links above to Taylor and Summer Rain, as they have absolutely no connection to this prompt.
Hi,
did not mean to offend you or your host,
sorry for linking to you, I intend to support,
you can delete my entry if you wish,
Thanks.
Same with Marit.
Wow, terrific photos for this prompt! Thanks so much to Daryl for letting us use them for inspiration :)
Thank you, Shay. I enjoyed Daryl's photography. I wrote of what came to mind when I delved into the cemetery picture.
..
Oh wow. Her photography is incredible.
