Happy Easter in the garden...
I hope that all our members and visitors have enjoyed a very happy weekend with family. Many of us have not had time to spare to write something new, but the Open Link allows us to select a poem from our archives and to give it a second chance to be read. Anything goes today, so please feel free to use the opportunity to share your work with us here.
I mentioned last week that on a small site such as RT, it is very noticeable if someone uses the space merely to showcase their own work without supporting the creative writing of others, by visiting and commenting on their posts. The host of this weekly OL will not feel obliged to visit the blog of a contributor who falls into this category.

Hi. Hope you had a great holiday weekend! And thanks as always for hosting this!
Here's my Snappish Limerick and here's my Limerick Ode To the late Mike Wallace.
since I have been banished to the 35 corridor, I am posting a link to the only poem I may write this april. enjoy
I have been as guilty as any recently in not reading enough - anywhere - my only excuse, hospitalised and wambly, I have just about enough energy to write my one poem a day for Napowrimo. I promise to do better soon.
I have linked to one of my all-time favorites from among my own, which I wrote in 2009.
I hope that everyone had a nice Easter!
Hi. I've linked my latest NaPoWriMo Poem. Wishing everyone a great week ahead.
I posted my latest NaPoWriMo poem too. This is quite a month. Happy poeming, everyone.
Something I wrote awhile back, a pastoral in free verse.
Happy Monday to everyone.
I will be around to visit you later.
My post is new as its my 1st blogoversary ~
I too had noticed that I was commenting on people's work and not having courtesy return visits. Thanks for pointing that out.
Have a great week all.
Submitted something I wrote today for NaPoWriMo. Hope you all have a great week ahead! :)
Haven't posted here in a while. Submitted a piece I wrote a couple of years ago. Hope everyone has a terrific week!
Hope everyone had a great Easter!!!!! An oldie I did for a prompt. Can't wait to see what everyone pulls out.
good morning, pals. yay monday!
hi all! I'm linking my latest, an eastery sort of thing I conjured up yesterday
Thank you! I will be back to enjoy the garden later tonight... I'm off to enjoy this amazing spring day.
It's been amazing discovering new poetry here, and I'm looking forward to reading what everyone's posted...
My offering this week is one I wrote after the devastating natural disaster in Haiti. We should never forget, because otherwise the tragedy will continue unfolding.
Happy Monday all! I had too much fun this weekend and am grateful for an ordinary Monday to re-collect myself!
I wish I could link to an old one, but this 'poem a day for April" thing is a hard mistress, so you have a new one from me. Looking forward to some good reading and hope the Easter weekend was full of happy and fattening events for all.
Sorry I'm late... just got back from jury duty. Have a great week everyone.
Late, but I am posting...Now I am off to read.
I have Charles Dickens on the brain tonight; my poem is a result of the notes I took during Masterpiece Theater last night. (Oh, I am such a literary geek!)
Hello, everyone. First thing I have posted here.
I'm sharing one I wrote for day Ten NaPoWriMo, borrowing a line from a favorite, Maya Angelou. :)
Hi! I'm also sharing a Day 10 prose poem, but I don't think the link worked. It kept wanting me to something about 39 first which finally took, but doesn't seem to be true link.
Here's the link for anyone interested:

Thanks and so sorry about bad link. I'm afraid to repost to mess up your links twice. K.
I will be getting around and contributing with Monday Open Link night... but my horse got kicked in the legs and I have to cold soak him two or three times a day... so I haven't had as much computer time. :) Oberon is fine (Sebastian is the one who probably kicked him) There is always "drama" with horses. :)
