1. the determining and marking off of the boundaries of something.
Synonyms: boundary, division, distinction, separation
Or... perhaps: point of no return, three-mile limit, about-face, dichotomy
And... as applied to relationships as well as visible limits.
I'm setting a few boundaries:
1. Write a new poem for this prompt
2. Post to Mr. Linky
3. Visit other blogs from the list and leave a comment letting them know you stopped by.
I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Sorry I was a little late.
Oh this is a great word, Laurie. Many ideas spring to mind.
Great prompt, Laurie!!!!
Mine's up!! Have a good weekend, everyone.
Wonderful prompt! This should give me the push I need to finish a poem I've been working on for a couple of weeks, fits perfectly!
I love the word! Thank you Laurie...
thinking and gathering~
Just the word to settle in solid my decisions on some recent discoveries about peeps I once thought were friends! Ha ha!! Thank you, Laurie!! Smiles to all for a great weekend!!
I agree--great word--don;t suppose I can rest on my laurels with the poem that used it? Oh well. ;-) Nothing stirring in the witchy cauldron atm but you never know. Thanks Laurie.
this word prompt seemed mystically right for me tonight, on the anniversary of the death of my first husband - a night that definitely split my life. i thank you so much. I think i needed to write the poem I wrote and wouldn't have written it without the prompt.
It was a great prompt, Laurie. Enjoyed writing the poem. Thank you! :) :)
I wrote based on a real life story ~ Boundary Agreement from a blogger friend ~
Thanks for the prompt ~
Laurie, I followed your example and was a day late. ;-) It's part of the poem I did for Gemma's photos.
...I love this - Will probably pair this with the Sunday challenge and post it on Monday's Open Link as this is a busy weekend for me. I will post it hear as well and swing by and comment on everyone's entries.
... Done! I hope I used the word correctly ;)
Hi Laurie! I never wrote specifically to this prompt, but think my poem "Going Our Own Ways" that I wrote for Kerry's Sunday challenge would fit. Should I bother to repost it?
Wow, sometimes I'm so slow...but I got it finally!
