Welcome to the Imaginary Garden ...
Warm greetings to all our regular contributors to the Real Toads Open Link. I always love the feeling I have of flinging open french windows onto a beautiful garden every Monday. For the sake of new-comers today (and I hope there are a few) I shall repeat the instruction that there are no instructions for linking up your poetry today. The choice is entirely yours; the object is to share, comment and show support of the wonderful community of poet-bloggers. It is common courtesy, with Open Links, that one does not just hit and run. In other words, in sharing a poem here in the hopes of receiving reviews, take some time to give your own commentary on a few of the blogs linked up beside your own.

Happy Monday to everyone. Here in India, we are celebrating " Lord Ganesh Chaturthi", the lord of intelligence and prosperity. May his blessings are showered on all:)!!
O thank you Vandana Sharma! Are these California Poppies, Kerry?
I had a cup of coffee at 9 pm. so I am still up and buzzing. And that means you get a new poem instead of a re-run. Happy Monday to all.
I seem to remember writing something and filing it away somewhere. Now, if I can figure where "where" is, I might find it and post it.
In all my early poetry-writing years, I kept very little. I memorized two, and posted both on a Monday some time back.
Therefore, most of what I have consists of poems written for Real Toads. Thank you all for getting me back into it. Someone (Corey, maybe?) sort of said I'm improving, or he was liking my work more. Something like that. So I'm taking it as a go.

Happy Monday to everyone, I'll be back tomorrow...
Happy week, Toads. Will hop by later... ~ M
These lyrical poems with the music have a certain powerful enhancement.
Easy Bake Oven (well, my brother and I set our sister's play oven on fire trying to help her actually cook something on it using a can of hair jell) There is EZ off as an ingredient for those drugs that can disable ladies without permission.
Crystal Tokyo refers to the Sailor Moon series of anime and the ongoing tragedy of meltdown from the tsunami... so much for the ban on atmospheric testing history repeats I guess...
Going to be hot today here last of summer... I have a guest on the air bed in the front room, safe, have to help her find a place, she has stevens-johnson... This living on my own after awhile is not cracked up what it is said to be...
We need more than words, than touch, than science... but damn it why can we not implement cures for things?
I returned to Lolamouse's inkblots.. The last one needed a poem written for it too..
I am enjoying reading all these wonderful poems this morning. Thank you Vandana Sharma for your good wishes. Blessings on you.
I still cry when I read these poems I wrote for Pup after he died. I never have managed to really let go of his spirit so he can run free - just cant let go. But in this poem, I was attempting to do just that.
Happy Monday! I'll be by to visit. I busy building a Tardis. You think I'm kidding-I'm not.
good morning! flinging open french doors i shall also do in me mind, great to be here...
Nice to see you again,Toads. Love ya!
I am back.
I'll be back about 8:30 pm - kids are getting home from school. :)
not much to share today, but for my unbridled glee at seeing COSMOS CAMI sharing a poem with us today! oh yippee! xoxoxo and welcome back, dear Cami.
Sherry, not sure if you got my reply to your post (it appears it may have been eaten up) - smiles and tears, both.
I've posted a second post, if y'all don't mind, of an old pen for my own black lab.
Peace ~ M
And for all the poets who lost their pets after a long time... old Neal really did drink beer (we kids stole from our parents when they had company) and loved to eat pancakes, so big a dog we rode him... he was a protector and childhood companion who went with us exploring the mudflats of Tidewater Va... nothing more can be said, comments save.... I understand having been there. Such things make most of the magic of earlier and gentle, simpler times... of the poetic sort that does not fade.
Hi Kerry ~~ I got the wrong day to sign on, I signed on in last week's again.
But finally tonight I wrtte a little ditty. Not supper, but it is what I have.
