A nice fun, cattle prod type prompt, MZee. But I let you down, having a very busy day, the hospital (Mrs. Jim testing) and gymnasium (KP, gymnastics) kind. I know, perhaps the dog ate my real one or I left it on top of the car? Sorry. ..
This is really hard! I have tired a few but the fell flat. Then I read yours! I hardly ever read others before mine is done... and now all of my attempts seem awful. I'll plug away for a bit, but if I don't succeed - thanks for the prompt anyway. I will visit and comment tomorrow even if I don't get one up.
Sorry 'bout the "(2)" after my name on the link. Just the one poem. ;) Thanks for the inspiration. I wanted to go exactly 77, but when it was done, it yelled at me that it was done. Cheeky poem.
Not sure I shocked you, but it helps to write out some of what I've been holding inside. I am on a journey to forgive. I'm taking two steps forward and twenty back. Oh, and I went over 77 words. If I could really tell the story it would quickly become a book.
69 words including the link and my copyright. ~giggle~ I enjoyed this very much as I've been too busy to write this week. Not sure how I made you feel, you'll have to tell me.
The most shocking thing I could think of was a poem titled Wild Woman Votes for Donald Trump. But I didn't dare post it for fear someone might believe it. LOL. With my past loaded with shocking events, I so far have not come up with anything. Am fighting off a flu. I am enjoying the responses however.
I had so much fun with this on, Mama Zen. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGood stuff, warm greetings!

ReplyDelete..
I am so sorry. I accidentally put the link to my Tumblr blog in entry #4. Please delete that one. I'm an idiot.

To shock you... I think I would be on thin ice just trying... But I will try later tonight... Now I'm leaving for office.

ReplyDeleteMine is a very short piece indeed. I'm a bit brain dead at present.
ReplyDeleteMine is 77 words exactly ... mostly sad and meaningless
ReplyDeleteHey MZ-- I am always shocked by what I wrote of (but others won't be most likely.) Thanks. k.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the prompt. I haven't been writing lately, but this along with a local situation got me to at least give it a try.
