Today is the day we put the "mini' back into the Sunday Mini-Challenge, and return to the option of form poetry. The object of this challenge is to write a poem in no more than 10 lines (but you may write in fewer than 10 lines all the way down to a single American sentence). Choose your own form or write in free verse, if preferred.
The Mesh
Kwesi Brew
Ghana
This weekend, our frame of reference is 'The Cross-roads' quoted from Kwesi Brew's poem, The Mesh. Follow THIS LINK to AllPoetry.com where more of his work is available to read. I look forward to reading a number of short poems, from Saturday through to Monday. The link does not expire, so please feel free to write more than one poem, and a return to comment on poems linked later would be appreciated.

Cross-roads and choices are wonderful topics... We all need to put on our critical thinking caps.
Loved the challenge Kerry ❤️ sharing an etheree! xo
Did a little 10 line sonnetina on the subject of winning or losing. That's a real choice I think,
I enjoyed doing a free verse micro-poem, after weeks of practising forms as I have been doing.
Thank you Kerry, for the introduction to wonderful Kwesi Brew. I hope I managed to catch a little of his tone in my offering.
Helen, I very much enjoyed your poem but found it difficult to comment on your blog. Apologies.
four choices in 10 lines - a great theme
I was intrigued by your poetry bits - evidently a woman who loves words Magaly and admire the way your re-wired them to create this devastating 10 liner
my ten lines look doubled because of the font, but it really is 10 lines:)
Thank you! Perfect timing for Crossroads theme. My son is visiting from NYC and we went to see my college daughters big "Scene Design" debut at college last night. I will be back to comment here and on the Tuesday platform later tonight or tomorrow night - my son goes back to NYC Monday so we are having lots of wonderful family time.
Great challenge Kerry
Oh my goodness - I forgot the 10 line rule.... sorry. I'll see what I can do... I might have to take a slap on the back of the hand ...
Hi friends! Kindly accept my apologies.. I will be commenting late on all your wonderful poetry forms. Even when I am logged in from my account, my blog page shows I am not and cannot enter on most of your pages :( Once the problem is solved, I shall :)
ps: in case anyone had a similar problem anytime and knows to solve can help me :)
