The Tuesday Platform
Happy First Tuesday in May, Dear Toads! And welcome to The Tuesday Platform, your unprompted, free-range day of the week here in the Garden. Tuesday rules are so simple: Share and share alike, i.e. share your poem, read the poems of others, and share your thoughts.
Maybe you are feeling worn out from Poetry Month. Or maybe you are feeling inspired! Either way, feel free to lie on the floor for a spell. Seems like it could only be good for us.
If you have grown accustomed to daily prompting and need a boost, try this: FORTUNE COOKIE MESSAGE

Busy day ahead, so I'll be back later to link up a poem!
Yesterday, the weather was rainy, for most of the day, in Toronto, which sparked the genesis for the opening stanza, of the poem that I am sharing, today. And yes, last I checked, more rain is coming, today. Sigh.
That is a hysterical fortune cookie. Thank you for the laugh, Marian. :-D
Hi Marian, I was all to write today but i have strained my hamstring doing yoga of a things, so pretty much just rolling around in pain right now.. I should have just lain on the floor!
Wowwwieee❤️ my fortune was 'Your dream will come true when you least expect it' ah.. thank you Marian ❤️ sharing an oldie today.. need some rest before Thursday prompt. Happy Tuesday, everyone!❤️
Happy May, everyone!
Kerry, ack! GO LIE DOWN. Actually that fortune bugs me. Shouldn't it be lie on the floor? Well, no matter, I appreciate being admonished to take a break, don't you? :)
I like the fortune cookies link,
Good Tuesday, think i'll do some cooking before I write and post a poem
much love...
Must be the day for aches and pains. I've been digging holes and cementing things into them. Have found muscles I forgot I had. Went with a free form stream of consciousness poem tonight.I'll get round to reads and comments soon. First I need a lie down ;)
I linked what I hope is a "dramatic monologue" that I wrote for dVerse Poetics since this is "free-range" day here.
Wasn't thrilled with my fortune cookie attempt, so you don't get to see that; but to stop the NaPo withdrawals, have taken up my 'small stone' habit again.
chose Dylan Thomas rather than the fortune cookie and despite the tardiness of linking up have not been lying down
