Greetings, dear Toads.
If winter is dancing towards your bit of the world, I hope you are making plans to stay warm. If you live where is toasty, I’m jealous of your luck. I truly dislike New York City winters. All right, I hate cold weather
wherever I happen to be (while it tries to freeze me). But I love the
transition from autumn to winter, when the forest changes her dress, when coffee and tea warm the soul, when I get to wear my favorite crazy socks, when I
can spend more time indoors reading your poetry…
So, let me read your words. Share
a poem, any poem. Warm other Toads with your heartfelt comments about their poetic
words. And if you have crazy socks, wear them wildly.
as
always, feel free to use my photo, with proper accreditation
(you
wouldn't want anyone to think these HUGE things belong to you, do you?)
Add the direct link to your poem to Mr. Linky. Direct links
make him happy.

Thanks for hosting us, gorgeous!💞 Happy Tuesday, everyone💞
Hi Magaly, and thanks for hosting. I'm out of hospital and back home where it's much warmer than outside. I'm back at the laptop, too, feeling the warmth from fellow poets.
Just posting a small manifesto in the form of a haibun... Plans for writing... yes I have those.
Its never Winter here in Trinidad and Tobago. But never mind im sending warm wishes to Winter bound writers. And thanks for a lovely post today Magaly
Much 😍love
Thanks for being such a welcoming host, Magaly.
Good morning, friends!
Oooo...love those socks ! :)
Hi Magaly, thanks for hosting. Now, I've got my evening reading all sorted- loads to read here :)
@Sanaa, Thank you for feeding Mr. Linky with your words.
@Kim, You are back and I'm going in (for a very short time, I'm hoping). So glad you get to play with your laptop and we get to delight in your words. By the way, I hope you show us the crazy socks.
@Bjorn, Love the manifesto... and your plans. :-)
@Gillena, Do waft that delicious Caribbean warmth my way. I would say that I'm waiting with arms open wide, but I'm actually curling under the heavy blankets... still waiting.
@Kerry, Thank you for your words.
@Marian, Great morning to you!
@Cressida, Thank you! They are certainly one of my favorite pairs.
@Vivian, You're very welcome. I'm still giggling (a bit terrified) at your last line.
thanks for hosting, the interesting ideas - socks, funky socks (they rule, along with hand-knitted ones) and warmth - cool prompt stirring all kinds of ideas - Happy Tuesday and wonderful rest of the week
Happy Tuesday. I went snarky with mine. :) Hope your times away will be short Magaly!
Goodness, Tuesday got away on me.......I have linked the first poem I feel okay about since moving here in February. Just making the rounds now to read yours.......I love your socks, Magaly. for Christmas, for a little extra I bought my sister a pair of socks that has, written on the bottom, "if you can read this, bring me wine". LOL. I actually need a pair myself.
