Heigho, says ROWLEY!
Whether his Mother would let him or no.
With a rowley-powley, gammon and spinach,
Heigho, says ANTHONY ROWLEY!

"Pray, Miss MOUSEY, are you within?"
Heigho, says ROWLEY!
"Oh, yes, kind Sirs, I'm sitting to spin."
With a rowley-powley, gammon and spinach,
Heigho, says ANTHONY ROWLEY!

So... love abounds even in the imaginary garden, and especially in the world of toads. Please share a love poem (or an anti-love poem, if you prefer) today, in the spirit of Valentine's Day tomorrow. The poem may be your latest piece or an oldie, that says just about everything you've ever thought on the subject!
Remember to show the love by visiting and reviewing the work of other poets who also use this link to share their work.

I posted the wrong one the first time Kerry..Just remove it. Thanks for the love prompt.
I linked up an oldie that I think shows the anti side of love. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day everyone!
Fun post! And thanks as always for hosting this! Here's my Campaigning For Limericks.
I linked an oldie. Comment moderation is on. I will take care of the comments, and comment as I can, this evening. :-)
Mine was written two years ago, when I was basically blogging for myself. I found it this morning when I checked to see what I had written February, 2010. It is tongue-in-cheek, just fun to write really! Do know that!! I am having less time on the computer, trying to train the new pup in the dead of winter, but I will be back to look at yours later!
I just wrote a new one...so sharing this with you. I will be back later to comment on your posts ~
Happy monday ~
Oh, I love the illustrations! My link is a KIND of love... :)
everything i write is a love poem. this is my cinquain valentine from last year :)
I hope this will nicely match the V Day spirit!
Anti- love poem? How could I resist dredging up this one? :)
An oldie from me. Doesn't say all I have to say about love, but I'll keep trying :)
Wow! I had soooo forgotten about this Valentine blog from ages ago!
My goatie sister, Teresa from Eden Hills sent me here. I am adoring the creativity here!
Thank you so much for letting me play. I look forward to following!
Have a lovely Valentine's Day!
Interestingly, I was thinking of this very topic last night and posted an old one of mine because I was too tired to think up a new one......am off to Faiza's and will visit all your links when I get back........I may try to write a new one in honor of tomorrow:) Even though Romance eluded me, Love is all around!
Mine's an oldie and didn't have picture, though my header (also drawn by me) actually depicts my subject, so that's okay! Happy V-Day. K.
Pulled an old one from the archives - a response to a challenge about what love is... hope you guys enjoy it!
Hope I did everything right....thanks for the invite Kerry...as always you rock SA.
Oops, I missed that the idea was to share a love poem. Too fast this morning, but what will be will be.
Sorry for leaving links for two...but the first was kind of anti...and I love the love better than the anti...so posted a love, love one....Happy Valentines Day!
You can't do anything wrong on open link night, especially not on the eve of Valentine's Day..

I'm having no luck posting a comment...this is my last try out of several.
I linked a "re-run" of a decima I wrote about a year ago...I think it's sweet and appropriate for the prompt.
Happy Valentine's Day to all...
Gayle ~
This made me go throw my blog to see what I have written on the topic of love so far... I chose the one I thought best represented how I feel today, and I'm sorry if it's not happy reading. Still, Happy Valentine's to you all!
Happy Valentine's Day...I'm working on it ;D
Like Bodhirose above, Blogger won't accept my comments, although my poem linked O.K. Hope this attempt does better.
charming drawings!
mine is late, i'm afraid... not exactly an anti-love poem... more of a tortured-love poem. {smile}

has anyone mentioned that fairly recently the blogger comment window-type boxes which require word verification only seem to accept comments from those with a blogger i.d. i have not heard if blogger is going to do anything to correct the situation. in the meantime, you can disable word verification until they fix whatever the problem is or else you'll only get comments with people who have blogger i.d.s
ah! ... apologies... this was meant to be for grace's challenge... how did it end up down here?
