Yosemite Valley, California, the Great Outside, outside of cities, out sideordinary life, definitely outside. Photo by Peggy Goetz |
Hi Toads and friends, this is Peggy Goetz and I am honored to be
asked to provide a prompt today.
Getting right to the point, write about outside.
Outside of what? You decide as there are many ways this word
can be applied, but basically outside implies the existence of inside.
You can write about the differences between the outside and
the inside or about how you feel about being outside. You can be outside
yourself, outside a group, outside your back door, outside the box or outside most anything.
So let your mind go and I look forward to seeing what you
have to say about outside.

What fab pictures, Peggy. You have a talent for these landscapes.
I'm sitting here in total insomnia. It's six thirty in the morning and I haven't slept a wink. Day for night coming up:-(
Your prompt is so timely: I was thinking about agoraphobia as well as insomnia. So it is NOT going outside, if that is acceptable.
Me again: I just opened these pictures in the lightbox: What clarity. I feel I can touch those rocks.
These are beautiful pictures, Peggy. Many thanks for sharing your photos and giving us a grand idea to work into poetry today.
Strange! Only today I was wandering some very rocky coastline at Flinders on the southern end of my Mornington Peninsula! So love the rocks and sea together! And your photos are wonderful!
That view might tempt anybody outside!
Thank you, Peggy. This is a fun one for me. I've linked up and will be back to read all the other offerings.
nice, Peggy!
Missed all of you! The A-Z blogging challenge is kicking my butt. I miss writing...
Gorgeous photos Peggy-I'm inspired :D
Happy Saturday Toads!
An intriguing prompt . . . and a lovely Outdoors picture.
Peggy, echoing the above: Brill pix and a great prompt. Mine wandered in an unexpected direction, but it fits!! Peace to all you sweet Toads, Amy
My narrator is thinking of going outside, and you can take her further than that if you'd like. Wonderful photography as always, Peggy.
Thank you all for you wonderful compliments on the photos--at those places it would almost be hard to take a bad picture! I had almost forgotten that my prompt was coming up today. I will be around to read what you all have written. AND I will eventually get around to writing to my own prompt!
Excellent, Peggy!! Thank you. :)
Er...I may be taking over the title of most silly with this post. Thanks for a great prompt in spite of what I did with it!
Mine is short and a bit sad ... Thanks for this intriguing prompt.
I love your challenge! I might try this again! Wondrous :D
Thank you for the wonderful challenge. I am playing catch up. The death of my precious mother-in-law caused me to get behind on my challenge of 30 poems in 30 days.
