Most of the photos were taken last weekend in North Carolina's Appalachian Mountain area - fairly close to the Virginia state border. In a few months... my "backyard"

I posted an old entry to an old challenge which is highlighted above (#1). I think I entered it late to the challenge three years ago and not many saw it. It also happens to coincide with the photos I posted for this challenge - this whole area and riding/walking trail will be five minutes from where we will soon be living.
So, forgive the linking to an old post... but I will also be linking a new one (probably Monday as we have visitors this weekend).
Gorgeous photog.
This was fun!
Always gives me interesting old challenges to try... :-) Happy weekend everyone.
Greetings and best wishes to you.
it was hard to choose - great prompts
Thanks for hosting, Margaret!
De, I removed your faulty link.
That Dunbar stanza is irresistible. !!
Nice challenge finds, Margaret. I did the first, it was fun, I like fitting forms, the mechanics part. The poetic part? Well, let's say I like to write.
Too, I will be here tomorrow to she how you handled your challenges.
..
Beautiful photos Margaret. Thanks so much for the challenge.
Thank you so much for the poetry inspiring photos! :)
I left a memory that I recalled just recently. If were alive in 1976, feel free to sing along.
Sooo late to join and running out the door now but I promise to return reads to whomever stumbles upon this post...thank you for the inspiration!
