“Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon. A beauty bomb. And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one. It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air. Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas. And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight. Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in. With silver and gold and copper, magenta and peach and lime, amber and umber and all the rest. And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination.”note: if you are having trouble with Mr. Linky - you can always link up in the comments - please link to your specific post.

Happy dreaming, happy tuesday!
Hello friends... I linked a poem with some good advice from my aged librarian...
I already had some colour in my poem so was a timely prompt - Happy Tuesday - back to read after 2 hours in the gym
p.s. I notice changes to Blogger platform - is there a reason why we can only sign in as Google account now?
Google wants your whole world. And your soul as well. They have my blogs, my pictures via Picasa, my YouTube account, and even want my Yahoo. It all happened when I started using G m a i l which I now cannot use on one computer unless I submit. But Google threatens to take all eleven of those and my Blogger Profile àway if I cancel that new email account.
..
Nice colorful thoughts, Pat. My grandaughter, age eight, has taken my new box of crayons. But I'll try writing something using my old broken ones.
..
Hi Pat, Thanks for hosting in so colourful a fashion.
I slacked off in getting my piece up for the weekend prompt, but decided that Tuesday's free format would be a nice place to pop it in. Thanks for hosting Pat.
Annell, I cannot see where I must leave a comment on your blog. I did stop by to read.
Love those crayons! And I'm actually sharing a poem today. Yippee! Love to all of you.
Hi kids, hope you are all having a good start to your week.
Good afternoon/evening or whatever time it is this fine Tuesday.
hope everyone enjoys the creative romping in all glorious aspects, colours and flavours ~
Laura Blogger is making changes to their platform, one of which includes knocking "open id" out of the commenting picture - so Blogger users have to double check their personal settings for how they wish to receive comments from outside this platform, although Blogger said they would now automatically shift "open id" users to "anonymous" .... but I think it still rests with each individual to check their preferences and settings. Of course, it can be tied up to other things too - who knows?
Jim LOL@Google wanting the whole world and each soul.
No surprises there. Best to keep some keeps out of the basket, if possible.
As for colourful thoughts and broken crayons? Well, surely, you were taught to share?! Broken crayons may not have the appeal of a fresh box, who doesn't love a fresh box of crayons? - but they have the wonder of memories, the broken ones, and there is less hesitancy I would think, to simply grab a handful and play!
Annell I've corrected your link. It is nowdirected to your specific post you've chosen to share here, from what I can tell.
Right then, off to read these gems and treasures and found trinkets and bits and bobs!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead of them ....
JaeRoseThank you for submitting a poem to the open Tuesday Platform. It's always appreciated. And technically, since this is not a prompted post, there is no need for an actual link back to Toads. However, it is rather specific, in that it is necessary to link back to whichever specific post of your choosing, not not your main blog page. So I've checked your posts and have linked to the one most current - which is where people are landing. I do hope this is fine, and that you understand.
Pat
Good evening everyone! I'm afraid I'm struggling to keep my eyes open after a day of exam marking, which I've been doing - on and off- since 8.30 this morning! I can barely see the screen on my laptop. So please excuse me if I post and run this evening - I'll be back in the morning to read and comment.
A bussokusekika for today. since is open platform, I did not include any color. Thank you Pat for hosting!
Great to share my poem here :)
Have a great week!
Joining in today!
A crayola bomb. I love that. :)
I know I am late, but I am glad to be here!!
Better late than never! Right, Toads? :)
