Play It Again, Toads #

Warm Greetings to all on this lovely weekend in May. I am standing in for Margaret Bednar, who is our usual "Play It Again" host. This Mini-Challenge affords us the rare opportunity to revisit a prompt or challenge from our archives, or to catch up on one of the more recent posts that we may have missed.

I have selected three choices for our consideration today, but the invitation is open for you to select your own past challenge from our archives, listed according to years and months in the right side-panel.

1. Artistic Interpretations with Margaret - Sketchbook Poetry
(May 30, 2014)

2. Fireblossom Friday - Location, Location, Location (May 24, 2013)

3. Kenia's Wednesday Challenge (May 16, 2012)

  3. Thanks for stepping in to host, Kerry. I liked all these choices but really didn't have anything I felt was appropriate, and not very inspired of late anyway.

  5. Kerry,
I hope that choosing Joan Didion (an author versus a poet) works for Kenia's original prompt. It may be more of a book summary, but I tried to use her voice, which I find difficult to read. I didn't connect with her book "The Year of Magical Thinking".

  7. A fine specimen of Red Hot Pokers. the birds love them too. Each year the sparrows strip the flowers off!

  8. These are nice challenge choices. I was looking for one for the U.S. Memorial Day that would lend itself to writing of Mrs. Jim's brother death during WWII in Europe.
    Thank you, I chose # 3.
BTW, I will be scarce for the next three or more weeks. We are on the road some and also moving to a different home.
