This time, I want you to write a poem in which the physical setting is integral to the poem.
You might choose a natural setting,
or a man-made one;
or a not so beautiful one,
just make sure that the "where" of the poem is a vital part of it.
Write an original poem adhering to these simple instructions and sign the linky so that we can all come visit your special space. That's it! Have fun!

Hmmm,I want to be in my dreamland........where I'll walk on rainbows and dip in honey:)!!!
Sheesh! I JUST finished the one for Wednesday's word list. :) I'm worn out; I'll ponder this tomorrow. Great prompt, Shay.
~henna ;)
Setting is often over-looked, especially in poetry. Thanks for giving us this challenge, Shay.
at least it's friday.
An excellent challenge to work with, though some locations are darker than others...thanks, Shay. I will be back after chores to read.
Great challenge, Ms. Shay!!
Shay, I started writing as soon as I saw the prompt. After thirty years, no place ever seems so much like home as this long-gone restaurant... Love and peace, Amy
I got one! I got one!
There's no place like....
"Where" can be intriguing, inviting, scary, delightful, torturous...thoughts are going wild with this prompt...best of the weekend to you:)
Great prompt and good photos as well. So many settings in our lives! Thanks.
Lovely photos and great prompt! So glad to be back among my fellow toads. I so enjoyed my trip to Puerto Rico and island hopping.
A good prompt...
difficult to pick just one aspect of a place and stay focused, but managed and it was a fun thing to do.
Thanks
Peace,
Siggi
Just having returned from my "vision quest" I was able to use this to document a powerful part of my healing journey. Thank you!
What a marvelous sequence of place pics! I am inspired.
Thank you, everyone, for your kind comments and enthusiasm! Please bear with me as I may not be able to get around to everyone until Sunday, but I *will* visit each and every one of you by then.
I love the outdoor theater ;D
Thanks for this unique prompt~
Off to pluck words from the forest floor!
Fun, fun, fun ;D
I didn't forget Fireblossom Friday!! I had two house showings in 24 hours and I have one tomorrow morning ;P I will be back later tomorrow to read and comment. I'm not sure how much longer I can take having my house on the market. Might push off "downsizing" for another five years or so...
@ Siggi of Maine. Please link the URL of the specific post you wish to share, rather than the home page of your blog. This link takes us to the last poem you posted yesterday, when you Real Toads response is about 3 poems down the page.
^^^same for gabrielle.
Ugh, I neglected to say it should be a NEW poem. My bad.
I am on my way around right now, to visit those I haven't visited already. Thanks so much for being patient.
