One must make a distinction however: when dragged into prominence by half poets, the result is not poetry, nor till the autocrats among us can be “literalists of the imagination”—above insolence and triviality and can present for inspection, imaginary gardens with real toads in them, shall we have it.

Words Count With Mama Zen

Congratulations!  You survived National Poetry Month and wrote thirty poems in thirty days!  So, what do you get on May 1st?  Why, another damn poetry prompt!

Oh, let's not.

Today, let's go "unprompted."  As in, that's our theme.  Take the theme in any direction that you like.  Just don't take more than 45 words to do it.

Have fun!

Gotta love the chickens!

I am most amused by these chickens!

Thanks for making this one fast and fun, MZ. I had decided to go the next 30 days poem free, but... 45 words is doable.

Morning, Toads! I was at the hospital all night with my mom, so I'll probably be a little slow with my visits. Have fun with this!

I'm combining prompts since I'm slow. Hope your Mom is okay, MZ.
