Secret Garden Favim.com |
Who could resist such an appealing invitation: an old brick wall, a rustic gate standing open and a garden path beckoning?
This is the invitation we extend to all-comers, every Monday, with our Open Link. Here you may share your latest piece of writing, seek commentary on an older poem lost to your archives or simply enjoy the wonderful reading on offer by our members and friends.
Please remember that our Linkys do not expire, so late additions are always welcome. Our only request is that you join in our poetic ramble in the spirit in which it is intended: link original work, and return commentary.

I think I'm back for real now, Kerry, although I hesitate to say it aloud for fear a virus or a germ strike me down as soon as I've started to enjoy writing again.

Happy Monday. Hope it will be a great week for everyone!
je me vois bien y entrer dans ce jardin secret
I admit to having a penchant for shadormas - but I am unrepentant! LOL
Good morning Kerry,
What a nice way to start the week. I enjoy my visits here.
Do I recognize that path?
Not quite sure.
Immersed in Olympic endeavours here. Most of them delight me, some make me ponder.
Always run barefoot when I visit here!
Have a wonderful and creative week!
Thanks for allowing me to share!
:)
Kerry: I so wanted to tell Adrian AIDZ how I loved his poem, but his comment system doesn't allow blogspot comments.
Happy Monday toads! Linked up something a bit nostalgic this morning. Have a great day everyone!
For those who wish to leave a comment on Adrian's post, do not go to the box, click the first green lettered link beneath the poem: Comments <----Click this link.
Last week was impossible, so I've only got to my own challenge now, in time to link it up today.
Have a good week everyone...I've 2 holidays this week :)
Hey Kerry and Poet friends! I'm buzzing this morning. . . which brought me to an old poem on a different wavelength than I have been on lately.
I'll be back later to enjoy all the links. Have a good one.
Thanks for the prompt Kerry.
Have a good week all.
happy monday, Toads! i'm on summer vacation & here is the tiniest of glimpses.
This is my first time posting to this site so I hope I followed all the instructions. I posted a link to a poem I wrote a few months ago. The above photo, which is lovely, brought the poem to my mind. I hope you enjoy it. I plan to return later to look at all the other poems. Thanks for this lovely site.(I just realized I did not link to your site in my old post. Hope that is OK)
My first post and I blew it! I meant to link here:

And I thought I was a computer maven! Thanks for letting me play.
Hi Toads! A busy day today, so will catch up with you a little later!
Hi like it Mom Z. I could spend the day in there with a chair and a book (or my laptop doing catch-up work).
Be sure to open the picture to my lonely place. It is not nearly as inviting as yours.

(Thank you for your visit and nice comment.)

I fixed your link, Buddah :)
Hi Kerry, I am linking a rather grim poem (sorry), not sure it's one of my best lately, but I did a recorded reading of it for With Real Toads, and I think the recording is kind of interesting. It's a pantoum and the recording makes the differences in the repeated lines much more real than looking at them on the page. Hope all is well over there! k.
What a beautiful garden photograph.
Me and MZ collaborated! She did all the heavy lifting. I contributed a "the" and a comma.
Words from my mother, "Better late than never."
Came to drop a poem, but your image suggested a new one. Hope that's OK.
